In fact, the technological innovation may be found starting from the engineering department where CAD stations are situated that are provided with programs for the three-dimensional solid modelling with regard to engineering design whereas for the electromagnetic aspect mathematical CAD programs are provided for the design and simulation of the equivalent electric circuit of the motor; then there is the metrology laboratory, that is provided with equipment that is capable of pointing out the dynamic performance of the motor and its pickup, thermal equilibrium and short circuiting characteristics, using instruments calibrated by SIT centres. In fact, two motor test benches are installed that are capable of covering the power section that ranges from 30W up to 25 kW.
Finally, as of 1995, a quality control department with regard to the products supplied by external suppliers has been established in order to ensure the quality of the final product.
